Endless economic growth is a myth.
Some try to act like fucking gods.
Others pretend to be simple messengers.
But the one who will have the last word
Is an abused woman.
The one we call Nature.
Maybe she will show mercy.
But only if we stop raping the planet.
Only if we start
listening to
the ones
offering a way out
of this industrial wasteland.
reject the self-employment bullshit
It's time to realize
that we're not headingtowards
an interstellar journey.
But there is a journey we can embark on.
A journey in our mind.
A journey in our mind.

One of the best death inflected doom metal releases of the year, hands down. The atmosphere that Occlith sets is masterfully executed to fully envelope the listener under their crushing, powerful sound. If you're a fan of the subgenre, this is an essential LP. Camel

One of the most consistent, pummeling, noisy metal records I've heard in a long time. Blows me away consistently with ferocious vocals and screeching riffs. Incredible stuff. amoebicmint
Seattle band Adzes craft sludgy dirges with elements of noise rock, post-metal and shoegaze, united by a staunch moral compass. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 3, 2020
"Curse These Metal Hands" parlays the UK bands' chemistry into a record which—for all its tinnitus-inducing ferocity and elegiac arrangements—practically drips with transcendent joy. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 19, 2019
The Alberta crushers hold tight to their rank, astral-gazing grindcore, staring down abyssal torment all the while. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 31, 2020

Listening to this album is quite odd and rather uncomfortable, which I imagine is by design. It is well written, and the tone of everything is excellent (especially that sludgey bass tone that actually gave a presence in the mix). There is DM, ambience, atmosphere, and many odd rhythms and melodies. I'm still not sure how I feel about this LP, but I keep coming back and listening to it, so take that as you will. Camel
