Unmaker was my first encounter with LLNN and I was worried that their previous works might not pack the same punch... what a fool I've been.
Loss is short, and we should be grateful. This is soul-crushing in its heavyness. Imagine watching a gigantic orbital station collapse and crash down on earth, seemingly in slow motion: the annihilation of its impact all-encompassing and inevitable. It is the weight of such an expectation that turns Loss into an almost physical threat. Fascinating. David Fischer
"In a way, Lo! are the kind of band that impress more with the density of their sound rather than its size. Metaphorically. Despite not being a long album, The Gleaners is a huge album."

This is some interesting sci-fi / horror post-hardcore. With those synths and melodies, the whole thing sounds like a movie oder videogame soundtrack. An outstanding album with amazing vocals and doomy riffs. Sælzer Bub
